SELCO Foundation is a non-profit public charitable trust based in India that focuses on combining sustainable energy with social impact. About the Grant
The call titled “Piloting and Scaling Energy Efficient and/or DRE-Driven Livelihood Technologies in Raichur District” invites technology and clean-energy enterprises to design, pilot and scale livelihood technologies powered by DRE or featuring energy-efficiency in the Raichur district of India. The deadline for implementation is 30 March 2026 (per the terms of reference). The programme supports components such as deployment of technologies, training modules and centres, certification processes, outreach and marketing, documentation and research. SELCO Foundation will provide financial support (as needed), mentorship, networks, and other services to shortlisted enterprises. The focus sectors include agriculture, animal husbandry, micro business, value-addition, and other livelihood segments where energy-efficient or DRE solutions can make a tangible impact.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants are enterprises (for-profit or social enterprises) that develop, supply or integrate energy-efficient or DRE-powered livelihood technologies. Key criteria include: having a minimum viable product (MVP) or proof of concept, readiness for piloting or scaling, willingness to deploy in Raichur district, and working closely with stakeholders such as NGOs, government institutions or financial bodies. The technologies should target livelihood sectors like agriculture, animal husbandry, processing, crafts, micro-business etc. The applicant must show intent for service/after-installation support, and may propose a combination of research, marketing/outreach, certification or training alongside technology deployment.

The submission requires key details such as enterprise profile, technology description, pilot/scale plan, stakeholder engagement, budget outline and deliverables. After submission, shortlisted applicants may be invited for further discussions.
