The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is a government agency under the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, NGOs, knowledge institutes, and policymakers in expanding their businesses and projects. RVO facilitates investment and development opportunities both within the Netherlands and internationally. Through funding, networking, and knowledge sharing, the agency strengthens collaborations and enhances global business opportunities. RVO plays a vital role in promoting sustainable and innovative initiatives by providing financial assistance and strategic support to projects with economic and social impact.
About the Grant
The Partners for Water (PVW-IVWW) subsidy scheme aims to enhance water safety and security in deltas, delta cities, and river basins worldwide. It encourages the use of innovative Dutch knowledge and expertise in addressing challenges related to excess water, water scarcity, and water pollution. The grant supports feasibility studies and pilot projects that test new approaches in local contexts. A feasibility study assesses a project’s viability before implementation, while a pilot project involves experimental development, including prototyping, testing, and demonstrating solutions in real-world conditions. This initiative falls under the Netherlands International Water Ambition (NIWA), fostering sustainable water management practices globally.
