About the Grant
The Community Service Grant aims to expand access to massage therapy for underserved populations by funding charitable organizations that integrate massage into their services. This initiative encourages partnerships between massage therapists and community-based organizations to promote health and well-being.
The program provides funding for one-year projects that introduce or expand therapeutic massage and bodywork services in settings where they are currently unavailable. Each project should focus on addressing health disparities and improving accessibility for marginalized groups. A maximum award of $5,000 is available per project. Funded programs must comply with local massage therapy regulations and demonstrate sustainability beyond the grant period.
Who can Apply?
Organizations eligible for the Community Service Grant must meet the following criteria:
- Established for at least one year in their respective state or country.
- Hold 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in the U.S. or be a recognized non-profit charitable organization in other countries.
- Currently provide therapeutic or other community service programs.
- Have a designated Project Leader and a Massage Therapy Coordinator to oversee the program.
- Ensure compliance with local massage therapy regulations and provide proof of professional liability insurance.
Grants are not awarded to individuals and cannot be used to duplicate existing services within the applicant organization. Organizations affiliated with Massage Therapy Foundation officers, trustees, or review members are ineligible.
How to Apply?
Organizations must submit an online application through the designated grant portal. Applications should include project details, compliance documentation, and proof of insurance. Submissions must be received by March 3, 2025. Decisions will be announced by July 1, 2025.

Grant Amount
