About Organisation
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation is a philanthropic organization that supports exceptional talent in India across arts, education, and culture. It aims to provide opportunities for creative individuals to further their practice through global exposure and learning experiences. Partnering with esteemed institutions worldwide, the foundation supports artists, curators, scholars, and researchers, helping them access networks, resources, and platforms that amplify their work. The International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), based in Brooklyn, New York, is one of its key collaborations, offering residencies that foster critical dialogue, experimentation, and cultural exchange. ISCP is a globally recognized hub for artists and curators, facilitating cross-disciplinary practices and promoting new perspectives through exhibitions, talks, and participatory projects. Together, the Inlaks Foundation and ISCP create opportunities for emerging and mid-career Indian practitioners to expand their artistic vision while building international networks. The foundation ensures that selected individuals are supported financially and logistically throughout their residency, allowing them to fully engage in creative exploration without the constraints of resources or infrastructure. Through these initiatives, the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation plays a significant role in promoting cultural discourse, nurturing talent, and advancing artistic practices that contribute to a more equitable and enriched global art community.
