Inclusive Nissa’ Project Grant for Women’s Financial Inclusion in Egypt

COSPE is an international civil society organisation working to promote social, economic and environmental justice through development cooperation, human rights, inclusion and community-based initiatives. Through the Inclusive Nissa’ Project, COSPE works to strengthen women’s economic participation and financial inclusion by supporting gender-sensitive financial and non-financial tools, services and approaches. The project focuses on addressing barriers that prevent women, particularly those in underserved and marginalized communities, from accessing appropriate financial services and economic opportunities. Its work includes financial education, entrepreneurship support, digital solutions, capacity building and engagement with relevant institutions. Inclusive Nissa’ forms part of wider efforts to advance women’s economic empowerment in the Southern Mediterranean.

The Inclusive Nissa’ Project Grant supports nonprofit organizations in Egypt to develop or strengthen gender-sensitive financial and non-financial tools that improve women’s financial inclusion and economic empowerment. The opportunity particularly targets women facing barriers in rural, marginalized and underserved communities, including women working in the informal economy. Proposed interventions may include financial education, entrepreneurship training, mentoring, digital financial solutions, business support and connections with financial institutions. Projects should respond to clearly identified financial inclusion challenges and produce approaches that can be transferred or replicated. Applicants are also expected to incorporate learning and capitalization so that knowledge, experiences and successful approaches can benefit partners and the wider community.
