About the Grant

The HERALBONY Art Prize 2025 continues its mission to empower disabled artists globally. In its second year, the prize aims to support and celebrate artwork that transcends barriers, showcasing the extraordinary talent of disabled artists. Submissions are welcomed from all around the world, with no age, gender, or nationality restrictions. The Grand Prize of JPY 3 million, along with separate Jury’s Prizes and Corporate Prizes, will be awarded to outstanding works that demonstrate creativity and innovation. The focus is solely on the artwork, aiming to create social impact and recognition for the artist.

Who can Apply?

The HERALBONY Art Prize is open to both professional and amateur artists with disabilities who wish to pursue careers in the art world, both nationally and internationally. Domestic applicants must provide a copy of their Shogaisha Techo, while international applicants must submit disability documentation issued by a government organization or medical institution. Submissions can be made by the artist themselves or on their behalf by family members, legal guardians, or affiliated organizations. There are no age, gender, or nationality restrictions for participation.

How to Apply?

Artists or their representatives must submit artwork through the application portal. Entrants must provide necessary disability documentation, along with the artwork, to confirm eligibility. The submission process is open to all artists, with a focus on showcasing creativity.
