About the Grant

The HCLTech Grant, now in its 11th edition, is a flagship CSR initiative by HCLFoundation designed to support breakthrough rural development projects proposed by credible NGOs. In this cycle, the grant focuses on four key thematic areas: Biodiversity, Water, Health, and Education. The initiative aims to fuel transformational change by awarding substantial multi-year funding to NGOs that can demonstrate measurable impact and sustainability. Each of the four selected NGOs—one in each category—will receive ₹5 Crore to implement a four-year project that drives deep-rooted development outcomes. Additionally, eight NGOs (two in each category) will be recognized as runners-up, each receiving ₹50 Lakhs for a two-year project. This expanded funding pool, amounting to ₹24 Crores, underscores the foundation’s commitment to long-term, systemic impact in rural areas. HCLFoundation’s approach emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and excellence, supporting organizations with proven strategies and a clear implementation roadmap. The grant not only provides financial support but also visibility and engagement with larger ecosystems, including policy stakeholders, academic institutions, and communities. This edition reaffirms HCLFoundation’s belief in the power of grassroots innovation and the need to empower those working tirelessly to create lasting social change.
