About Organisation
EarthON Foundation (USA) in partnership with SwitchON Foundation (India) has launched the Greenovation SustainAgri Challenge, a pioneering initiative aimed at advancing sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture in India. EarthON Foundation is committed to promoting grassroots innovations that ensure a just, equitable, and climate-secure future. Their efforts align closely with India’s National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) and international sustainability objectives. SwitchON Foundation brings on-ground expertise and deep community engagement to this collaborative platform, making it a powerful partnership for change. Through this challenge, the organizations aim to accelerate eco-friendly agricultural practices, improve food security, and reduce environmental impacts associated with farming. By fostering innovation and inclusivity, EarthON and SwitchON hope to revolutionize agriculture through technological intervention, capacity building, and systems thinking. The initiative particularly seeks to empower smallholder and women farmers and amplify the role of youth in shaping a resilient agricultural future.
About the Grant

Open to startups, NGOs, grassroots innovators, and academic institutions, the initiative seeks early-stage technologies, scalable business models, and community-based interventions that tackle pressing issues like soil degradation, climate vulnerability, and inefficient resource use. Selected participants will benefit from non-dilutive cash awards totaling up to INR 20 lakhs across categories. Additionally, winners will receive hands-on mentorship from industry experts, access to capacity-building bootcamps, national-level visibility, and valuable networking opportunities. The challenge places a special emphasis on innovations that enable regenerative agriculture, improve soil and water management, leverage AI and digital tools, and promote inclusive livelihood opportunities for women and youth in agriculture.
