About Organisation
The Japan Water Forum (JWF) serves as a touch factor for exchange and cooperation among water stakeholders in Japan and overseas, along with UN agencies, international groups, development banks, governments, non-public businesses, researchers, and NGOs.
Based on this network, information on the essential effect of water on everybody’s lives is promoted by using JWF, the main decisive action to address water problems on earth, aiming for a global where all and sundry enjoy the lasting blessings and values of secure water.
About the Grant
The Japan Water Forum Fund (JWF Fund) supports grassroots water projects in developing countries. Since 2005, it has funded 199 initiatives benefiting over 273,000 people. Annual grants of up to USD 1,500 are awarded to projects demonstrating sustainability and community involvement.
Who can Apply?
The eligibility criteria for the Japan Water Forum (JWF) Fund 2024 is that the applicant have to be an energetic nearby grassroots corporation running in a country or territory classified in line with the OECD’s DAC list:
- Least Developed Country (LDC),
- Low Income Country (LIC),
- Lower Middle-Income Country (LMIC)
How to Apply?
The application period is from 10:00 on 12th June to 18:00 on 17th July 2024 (JST). Around five organizations will be selected. To apply for the fund, please read through the guidelines beforehand and use the official application form.
