The “Center for Corporate Social Responsibility Development” (CSR Ukraine) is a leading nonprofit organisation dedicated to promoting responsible business practices, sustainable development, and community-focused initiatives across Ukraine. Through partnerships with global and local institutions, CSR Ukraine creates programs that strengthen social impact, economic resilience, and ethical leadership. In collaboration with Activia, the organisation operates the U&WE HUB, a platform designed to support women entrepreneurs by providing financial, psychological, and educational resources. Their initiatives focus on empowering women to grow their businesses, enhance personal resilience, and contribute meaningfully to Ukraine’s economic and social recovery.
About the Grant
The U&WE HUB and Activia grant competition aims to empower Ukrainian women entrepreneurs by supporting both business development and mental well-being. The grant encourages applicants to invest equally in personal recovery—such as psychological consultations, coaching, and wellness programs—and business needs like equipment, materials, service payments, or scaling activities. The initiative recognises women’s essential role in strengthening communities, accelerating economic recovery, and fostering sustainable development. Applications will be evaluated based on business potential, social impact, alignment with sustainable development principles, clarity of budget, feasibility of the plan, and the applicant’s personal motivation to grow and succeed.
Who can Apply?
The grant is open to women entrepreneurs who own micro or small businesses operating within Ukraine. Applicants must be tax residents of Ukraine and possess all required legal documentation to verify their business operations. Eligible candidates should demonstrate clear business development potential, social value, commitment to sustainability, and a strong personal motivation for growth. Women whose businesses align with community resilience and long-term economic recovery are encouraged to apply. Businesses located in temporarily occupied territories or the Autonomous Republic of Crimea are not eligible for consideration, ensuring grant deployment to functioning enterprises within eligible regions of Ukraine.
How to Apply?
Applicants must prepare a complete documentation package demonstrating business ownership, tax residency, and eligibility. They should outline how the grant will be used—splitting the budget equally between mental well-being and business development. A detailed plan, clear cost estimate, and explanation of personal motivation are required. Submission must follow the U&WE HUB program’s guidelines, ensuring all information is accurate, well structured, and aligned with the grant’s objectives.
