The Global EbA Fund is an international funding initiative supporting ecosystem-based adaptation to climate change. About the Grant
The Global EbA Fund Medium-Size Grants call supports collaborative and innovative approaches to expanding ecosystem-based adaptation. Eligible projects may seek funding for initiatives that strengthen institutional environments, integrate adaptation into national frameworks, develop innovative financing mechanisms or improve the scalability of existing nature-based solutions. Grants of up to US$500,000 are available for projects lasting up to 24 months. The call opens on 12 October 2026 and accepts submissions through 16 November 2026. Proposals should demonstrate strategic impact, strong partnerships and potential for wider adoption.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicant categories include legally recognised NGOs, international NGOs, intergovernmental organisations, community-based organisations, Indigenous Peoples’ organisations, universities, research institutes, think tanks and qualifying private-sector entities. Consortia may apply with a clearly identified lead organisation. Projects must comply with the fund’s ecosystem-based adaptation criteria, demonstrate a credible scaling strategy and satisfy due-diligence requirements.
