About the Grant
Giving Joy offers micro-grants to support women entrepreneurs in launching or expanding their businesses, nonprofits, or specific projects. The grants aim to enhance women’s economic independence while benefiting the communities they serve. Due to limited funding, the organization awards between five to ten grants per cycle, selecting from thousands of applications received globally.
To increase accessibility, Giving Joy has introduced a region-specific application schedule starting in January 2025. Each quarter, applications will be open for one month, allowing dedicated attention to each geographic region. This approach ensures consideration of local challenges, innovations, and opportunities, enhancing the impact of the grants.
The grant funds can be used for various purposes, including establishing a new business, expanding an existing initiative, or launching a nonprofit organization. The grant period lasts six months, during which recipients must utilize the funds for their proposed activities. Successful applicants will be notified individually via email.
