About the Grant

GameX is India’s first accelerator dedicated exclusively to gaming and esports, launched by I-Venture@ISB. This 12-week, full-time program is designed to empower startups working in game development, esports tools, publishing platforms, blockchain gaming, AR/VR/XR, and gaming security. Participants benefit from high-impact mentorship by leading figures in gaming and venture capital, along with structured learning through masterclasses and hands-on workshops. The program also offers extensive support in fundraising, access to premium tools and technology resources, and entry into a growing community of gaming professionals and enthusiasts. GameX not only promotes technical innovation but also emphasizes integrity in gameplay through fair play standards, anti-cheating mechanisms, and secure in-game economies. Whether building mobile games, esports platforms, or immersive virtual experiences, selected startups will gain access to industry networks and investor relationships to accelerate their growth. This initiative is part of ISB’s larger mission to support sector-specific innovation in India’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Who can Apply?

GameX invites early-stage Indian startups with innovative ideas in gaming and esports to apply. Eligible startups should be at the prototype, beta, or early-revenue stage. Exceptionally promising idea-stage teams may also be considered. Applicants must either be registered in India as a Private Limited Company, LLP, or equivalent, or be in the process of registration. Startups working on mobile, PC, or console games, AR/VR/XR experiences, blockchain-based gaming, esports engagement tools, or game publishing platforms are especially encouraged to apply. In addition, ventures developing security systems, encryption tools, anti-cheating technologies, and mechanisms for fair gameplay and in-game economy protection also fit the program’s focus. The program looks for teams that are innovative, scalable, and committed to building a sustainable business in the gaming ecosystem. Strong technical teams with a clear vision and growth potential stand a higher chance of selection.

How to Apply?

Interested startups can apply by filling out the official application form through the designated platform. Shortlisted teams will undergo a selection process, including pitch evaluations and interviews by the GameX team.
