Empower Change: Join the Teach For India Fellowship

Founded in 2008, Teach For India draws inspiration from the journey of Teach For America and collaborated with McKinsey & Company to develop a framework centered on the belief that every child deserves an excellent education. The organization has grown into a robust movement of 900 Fellows, dedicated to teaching 33,000 children across India, supported by over 4,500 Alumni. Together, they are collectively impacting the lives of 50 million children nationwide. This initiative aims to foster educational equity and develop leadership skills among participants, empowering them to be catalysts for change in their communities.

The Teach For India Fellowship is a transformative two-year program designed to revolutionize education in India. As a Fellow, participants will acquire essential teaching and leadership skills while becoming part of a dynamic network of educators and mentors. The Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to cultivate lifelong connections, engage in collaborative efforts, and create meaningful change in educational settings. Fellows are placed in under-resourced English-medium classrooms, where they are responsible for enhancing students’ academic and holistic learning outcomes, engaging with parents, and collaborating with school staff to foster a positive learning environment.
