About the Grant
The Elsevier-ISES Renewable Transformation Challenge honors exceptional efforts towards the development and implementation of renewable energy solutions. It recognizes organizations such as private enterprises, NGOs, and research institutions that undertake transformative projects or research in renewable energy. The Challenge promotes projects aimed at creating energy systems powered entirely by renewable energy sources, focusing on power, heat, and transport. The prize includes funding, global recognition, and opportunities to present the work at the ISES Solar World Congress 2025.
Who can Apply?
The Challenge is open to individuals and groups from both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations worldwide, except countries like Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, and Ukraine (certain regions). Participants must be of legal age in their country and confirm that their participation complies with relevant laws and regulations. The competition is also open to employees of academic institutions, NGOs, and research organizations. Employees of government entities and the sponsoring organization are excluded unless permitted by written approval.
