SBI Foundation, through its SBIF CONSERW initiative, invites proposals for long-term projects in the area of Adoption of Solar Power. The grant aims to support projects running for 2 to 3 years starting from FY 2025-26. The key focus is on implementing solar power solutions to enhance energy access and transform communities and institutions into self-reliant energy hubs. Project themes include setting up off-grid solar plants, rooftop solar systems, solar lighting in remote areas, solar-powered lift irrigation systems for agriculture and drinking water, and solar adoption by rural institutions. The initiative is designed to bring positive change by enabling sustainable and clean energy alternatives for underserved populations. With a grant budget ranging from ₹0.50 crore to ₹4.50 crore, the Foundation aims to support organizations that can demonstrate measurable and impactful results. The objective is not just energy access but enabling community development through renewable solutions.
