About the Grant

The Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants Programme 2025 is designed to build international partnerships that support youth in developing green entrepreneurship skills. With a maximum award of £85,000, the programme focuses on fostering collaborations that equip young people with the knowledge and expertise necessary for addressing climate change and driving sustainable economic growth. The grant emphasizes skills development, innovation, and cross-border cooperation to ensure that emerging generations can take leadership roles in building a greener future. Projects funded under this programme will bring together organizations from eligible countries to design, pilot, and implement training initiatives, mentorship programmes, and entrepreneurial opportunities in climate-focused sectors. The British Council seeks proposals that showcase creativity, inclusivity, and measurable impact, with outcomes that extend beyond individual participants to communities and industries. The initiative highlights the intersection of climate action, economic resilience, and youth empowerment, recognizing the vital role of skills development in transitioning towards more sustainable economies. The funding is expected to not only strengthen the capacity of participating organizations but also create enduring partnerships that scale climate solutions globally.
