About the Grant

Who can Apply?

The Climate Communication Fund invites applications from climate-focused civil society organizations (CSOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that are legally registered and operational anywhere in the world. Eligible organizations must actively implement practical, on-site climate initiatives and demonstrate a commitment to strengthening their communication capacity. To qualify, applicants should have no more than 20 staff members and an annual turnover not exceeding 5 million USD or EUR. A key eligibility requirement is proficiency in English, as the support and collaboration will be conducted in this language. In addition, the organization must be prepared to allocate at least 16 hours per month to work on its communication development with the support provided by the fund. The grant is specifically tailored for smaller CSOs, offering them a chance to build and scale their communication efforts. However, individuals, for-profit companies, and non-registered entities are not eligible to apply. This fund is ideal for organizations that are ready to co-create communication tools and strategies, engage with local communities through storytelling, and enhance their media outreach across various platforms.
