Call for EOIs: reach52 Community Growth Partner Program
About Organisation
reach52 is a social enterprise dedicated to expanding healthcare access in underserved communities across various regions. The organization leverages innovative technology and sustainable partnerships to connect low-income populations with essential health services, medicines, and micro-insurance plans. Operating in non-urban areas where residents earn an average of $3 per day, reach52 focuses on bridging healthcare gaps for those who fall into the ‘missing middle’—individuals who earn slightly too much to qualify for government aid but still struggle to access quality healthcare. Through partnerships with community-based organizations, socially responsible private firms, and civil society groups, reach52 recruits and trains Community Health Workers (CHWs) to deliver health solutions. Their award-winning tech platform supports local initiatives by digitizing healthcare delivery and empowering frontline workers. In addition to financial support, reach52 provides training, grant development assistance, and performance-based incentives to its partners. By collaborating with organizations that share their mission, reach52 ensures that underserved populations receive affordable and sustainable healthcare solutions, creating long-term impact in the regions they serve. Their innovative approach transforms community health by integrating digital tools, local networks, and sustainable funding models to drive meaningful change.
About the Grant
The reach52 Community Growth Partner Program seeks to collaborate with established community-based organizations to recruit and train Community Health Workers (CHWs) who will facilitate healthcare access in underserved areas. The program offers performance-based funding and in-kind support, including free use of the reach52 Impact platform, training, and ongoing implementation support. Growth Partners benefit from access to digital tools that enhance their healthcare initiatives, while communities experience lower out-of-pocket healthcare costs, better access to affordable medicines, and new economic opportunities. The program prioritizes organizations that can implement on-demand health campaigns, lightly managing CHW networks between assignments. Funding is provided for various activities such as onboarding local residents to the app, training CHWs, and completing healthcare engagements. Targeting populations in non-urban regions, the initiative aims to support individuals who earn slightly above the poverty line and are ineligible for government assistance. The program aligns with reach52’s mission of using technology to drive healthcare accessibility, fostering sustainable solutions for vulnerable populations. This grant presents an opportunity for organizations to integrate innovative digital health solutions into their ongoing community programs.
Who can Apply?
The reach52 Community Growth Partner Program is open to legally registered organizations with existing community operations in non-urban regions. Eligible applicants include NGOs, socially responsible private firms, and civil society organizations focused on health, livelihoods, micro-entrepreneurial initiatives, or rural development. Organizations must have experience or a strong interest in implementing social business models and digital interventions to enhance healthcare access. The program is currently operating in Indonesia, India, Kenya, South Africa, and the Philippines, with expansion opportunities in Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Mozambique. However, applications from other Sub-Saharan African (SSA) regions are also welcome. Applicants should demonstrate their ability to implement on-demand health campaigns, lightly managing their CHW networks between assignments. Organizations should be capable of supporting CHWs in delivering community health solutions, utilizing reach52’s digital platform for training, patient engagement, and data collection. The program prioritizes those working with the ‘missing middle’—households earning slightly above the poverty threshold but still facing significant health access barriers. Interested organizations must align with reach52’s vision of creating sustainable, technology-driven healthcare solutions for underserved communities.
