ASICS Foundation Grant Program 2025

Application Deadline:
12 June 2025
About Organisation
The ASICS Foundation operates with the core philosophy of “Anima Sana In Corpore Sano,” meaning “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body.” It is dedicated to promoting mental and physical wellbeing through sport and physical activity. ASICS believes in the transformative power of movement and aims to make physical activity accessible and inclusive for all. The Foundation focuses on community-based initiatives that serve youth, women, and individuals with disabilities—especially those facing economic and social disadvantages.
The Foundation’s programs are centered around supporting social inclusion, community building, and life skill development through structured and sustainable sports engagement. With operations targeting countries where ASICS has a strong presence, including India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Japan, the Foundation seeks to uplift underserved groups and break barriers to sports participation.
By providing grants, ASICS enables nonprofits to create safe, empowering environments for physical activity. These efforts are not limited to organizing sports events but extend to building infrastructure, developing local coaches and mentors, and promoting equity in sports. Ultimately, the ASICS Foundation reflects the company’s long-term vision to contribute positively to society through movement, helping people achieve both physical and emotional resilience.
About the Grant
The ASICS Foundation Grant Program 2025 is designed to strengthen nonprofit organizations that use sports and physical activities to uplift individuals in economically and socially challenging situations. This grant initiative is anchored in the belief that sport is a powerful medium for achieving holistic well-being.
The program welcomes proposals in three thematic areas: youth development, inclusion of individuals with disabilities, and gender equity in sports. For youth, the grant supports initiatives that enhance both physical health and emotional growth through sports. For people with disabilities, the Foundation aims to fund projects that foster integration and support by creating accessible environments for sport. In addressing gender equity, the focus is on inclusive programming, creating safe spaces, and promoting equal participation for women.
Grants are open to organizations operating in India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Japan. The Foundation will fund projects that enhance access to sports, train coaches, and promote community engagement. Pilot programs may be funded for up to 1.25 million JPY between October–December 2025, followed by full-year funding of up to 5 million JPY from January–December 2026. This grant reflects ASICS’s broader goal of fostering inclusive and sustainable physical activity across diverse communities.
