Call for Grant Applications -APRLH Small Grant Program
About Organisation
The Asia Pacific Regional Learning Hub (APRLH) by Seven Alliance is dedicated to strengthening the engagement of communities and civil society affected by HIV, Tuberculosis (TB), and Malaria in the Asia Pacific Region. Operating under the Community Engagement Strategic Initiative (CE SI) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, the initiative aims to empower affected communities by providing timely information, facilitating knowledge exchange, and supporting technical assistance. The Regional Learning Hubs play a crucial role in ensuring that communities and civil society organizations are actively involved in national-level Global Fund processes. Their key objectives include amplifying best practices, sharing updates, and assisting communities in accessing necessary resources for impactful engagement. Through these initiatives, the APRLH contributes to the broader goal of enhancing community-led responses and improving program effectiveness in addressing HIV, TB, and Malaria. The hub focuses on fostering leadership, promoting informed decision-making, and ensuring that community perspectives are well-integrated into national policies and strategies. By providing technical and financial support, the initiative aims to enhance the participation of civil society and communities in critical discussions, ultimately strengthening the impact of Global Fund investments in the region.
About the Grant
The APRLH, through Seven Alliance, invites community-based organizations (CBOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other civil society groups working with communities affected by HIV, TB, and Malaria to apply for small grants. These grants aim to strengthen meaningful community participation in Global Fund-related national processes, ensuring that affected populations have a voice in shaping health policies, improving service delivery, and addressing human rights and gender-related barriers. The grants support various activities such as community-led needs assessments, advocacy planning, policy consultations, program reviews, and capacity-building workshops. The initiative seeks to ensure that communities can access relevant and timely information about Global Fund processes while fostering collaboration among key stakeholders. By providing financial assistance, the grant enables organizations to drive strategic advocacy, conduct research, and enhance community engagement efforts. The implementation period for funded projects ranges between three to four months from the contract signing date, ensuring a rapid and efficient response to pressing community needs. The overarching goal is to create a catalytic effect at the national level by empowering communities with resources and knowledge to strengthen their role in health governance and policy-making.
