Re-Alliance is a network focused on regenerative humanitarian responses and approaches that go beyond conventional sustainability models. Its work supports community-led approaches in displacement settings and seeks to strengthen the agency of communities affected by displacement. Through its Upscaling and Integrating Regeneration Grant, Re-Alliance is providing funding to a grassroots organisation in a Global South country to develop a new regenerative project. The grant also supports knowledge sharing with influential regional organisations or government bodies and collaboration to produce educational materials. The initiative particularly encourages applications from organisations working in Asia and the MENA region and those led by displaced people, refugees, women or affected communities. contemporary global issues.
About the Grant
The Upscaling and Integrating Regeneration Grant provides £13,625 to one grassroots organisation working in a displacement setting. The grant will be awarded from late November 2026 and will run for one year. Funding is intended to support the design and implementation of a new regenerative project that clearly benefits and involves the applicant’s community. The selected organisation will also host a funded event or meeting to share its project and learning with influential organisations or government bodies and collaborate with Re-Alliance on educational materials.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must be grassroots organisations based in a Global South country and working in a displacement setting. Organisations must have a registered bank account or fiscal sponsor and demonstrate proven experience in regenerative work alongside displaced communities, including internally displaced people or refugees. Priority will be given to organisations led by displaced people, refugees, women or community members living and working in affected communities. Organisations operating in Asia or MENA and those using participatory approaches are also strongly prioritised. Applicants should ensure their proposed project does not duplicate topics already covered by Re-Alliance publications.
How to Apply?
Applicants must prepare a one-page concept note explaining the proposed regenerative project, community involvement and use of the funding. The application should include a project timeline and estimated budget table covering costs such as staff time, materials and labour. Applicants must also demonstrate relevant experience. Completed applications should be emailed to Re-Alliance using the subject line specified in the official call before the deadline.
