About the Grant
The Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge supports youth-led projects and startups creating solutions for social and environmental issues. The challenge aligns with Allianz’s MoveNow programme, which focuses on empowering young people and enhancing resilience in underserved communities. It funds innovative work under three themes: financial inclusion and empowerment, community health and wellbeing, and climate resilience. Winners receive grants, leadership support, and opportunities to scale their ideas globally. The challenge aims to strengthen youth-led impact, help emerging entrepreneurs build practical solutions, and foster long-term social transformation across diverse communities.
Who can Apply?
This challenge is open to young innovators, social entrepreneurs, and youth-led teams developing solutions aligned with one of the award categories: financial inclusion, community health and wellbeing, or climate resilience. Eligible applicants must lead projects that create measurable social or environmental impact, particularly within underserved communities. Youth-led startups, nonprofits, community groups, and early-stage social ventures are encouraged to apply. Applicants should show a clear problem statement, an innovative approach, and strong potential for long-term impact. Submissions should reflect meaningful engagement with communities and a commitment to scaling solutions that improve resilience and wellbeing.
How to Apply?
Applicants must submit their project proposal through the official application portal before the deadline. The application should clearly outline the problem addressed, the proposed solution, anticipated impact, and alignment with one of the three award categories. Strong submissions will demonstrate innovation, feasibility, and youth leadership. All required documents and responses must be completed before submission. Late entries will not be accepted.
