Eco-Business, founded in 2009, is Asia Pacific’s leading business intelligence and advisory platform focused on sustainable development. About the Grant
The Liveability Challenge (TLC), established in 2018 and presented by Temasek Foundation in partnership with Eco-Business, is Asia’s largest global sustainability solutions platform. It identifies and supports disruptive innovations that can address tropical urban challenges and climate change impacts. TLC provides funding, mentoring, and market ecosystem support to help start-ups transform bold ideas into scalable solutions. Over eight editions, TLC has incubated 54 start-ups and deployed nearly S$14 million in funding, enabling innovators to scale their climate-positive solutions and attract further global investment.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must be 18 years or older. Employees of Temasek Foundation or Eco-Business, along with their close relatives or individuals directly involved in the organization or judging process, are not eligible to apply. The programme seeks innovators and entrepreneurs globally with breakthrough technologies or solutions aligned with TLC’s two core themes: Decarbonisation (waste-to-resource, renewable energy, efficiency, and other emission reduction solutions) and Cool Earth (innovations mitigating extreme climate impacts, such as heat management and nature-based solutions).

Submit applications between 4 September 2025 and 9 February 2026 by completing the official form. Applicants should ensure their solutions align with the eligibility and theme criteria before applying.
