The incubator leverages IIM Kozhikode’s academic ecosystem, faculty expertise, research capabilities, alumni network, and institutional partnerships to support startups with high economic and social impact.
About the Grant
The IIMK LIVE Seed Support Fund is a startup seed funding initiative sanctioned under the NIDHI–Seed Support Scheme. It is designed to provide timely financial assistance to promising early-stage incubatee startups, helping them move from product development to market readiness. The grant acts as a bridge between innovation and commercialization, enabling startups to validate technologies, refine products, and strengthen business models. Funding supports critical activities such as development, testing, market entry, operations, mentoring, and intellectual property creation, ensuring startups are better positioned for sustainable growth.
Who can Apply?
The grant is open to early-stage startups incubated or willing to be incubated at IIMK LIVE. Applicants must be registered companies in India and should have completed a minimum of three months of residency at the incubator. At least 51% of the startup’s shareholding must be held by Indian promoters. Startups with OCI or PIO founders are considered eligible. Indian subsidiaries of foreign or multinational companies are not eligible. The scheme supports only one-time seed funding under NIDHI–SSS and is performance- and milestone-linked.
How to Apply?
Eligible startups are invited through official calls for applications issued by IIMK LIVE. Applications are screened based on eligibility criteria, after which shortlisted startups are invited to pitch before the Seed Support Management Committee. Final selection is based on innovation potential, feasibility, market readiness, and milestone plans. Selected startups enter the incubation programme and receive funding in phased tranches.
Application Deadline
Applications for the IIMK LIVE Seed Support Fund must be submitted within the announced call period, with the current deadline set for 10 March 2026.
