About Organisation
Google.org is Google’s philanthropic division, established in 2005 to address global challenges through technology, funding, and expertise. The organization supports nonprofits, academic institutions, and social enterprises by combining financial grants with employee engagement, technical assistance, and access to advanced AI tools. Its mission is to create opportunity and solve societal problems worldwide by applying innovation responsibly. Through large-scale global initiatives and accelerator programs, Google.org advances solutions in public health, climate, economic opportunity, and digital transformation, helping partners scale impact across communities and governments.
About the Grant
The Google.org Impact Challenge: AI for Government Innovation is a $30 million global initiative designed to help governments modernize and improve public services using generative and agentic AI. Selected organizations receive between USD 1 million and USD 3 million in funding and participate in a multi-month Google.org Accelerator. The accelerator provides pro bono technical support, AI strategy guidance, responsible governance training, and access to Google Cloud credits.
