About the Grant
The Digital Health: Planning National Systems program is a 12-hour training designed to build national-level capacity in digital health planning and implementation. Offered in self-paced and workshop formats, the course equips participants to develop enterprise digital health strategies, use WHO/ITU toolkits, strengthen governance, assess investments, and design scalable, interoperable architectures. Completing all modules leads to certification, empowering professionals to drive digital transformation in their countries.
Who can Apply?
The program is intended for Ministry of Health and Ministry of ICT professionals involved in national digital health planning, governance, procurement, or implementation. Ideal participants include planners, researchers, developers, managers, and decision-makers working on digital health systems. Applicants should have experience with national digital health initiatives and a commitment to advancing digital transformation. Prior formal training in digital health is not required, but familiarity with health system functions is an advantage.
How to Apply?
Interested participants can register through the WHO Academy platform. The program is open throughout the year, with workshop options available at specific intervals. Applicants simply need to sign up, access the course modules, and complete all required components to receive certification. No prior digital health training is necessary.
