About Organisation

The Supporting Act Foundation is a philanthropic organisation supporting emerging artists and nonprofit organisations working to create greater opportunities in the creative and cultural industries. Its programmes focus particularly on artists from underrepresented groups and communities facing systemic barriers to opportunities. The foundation uses unrestricted funding and other forms of support to help organisations strengthen their work and improve conditions for emerging artists. Through its Impact Grant, the foundation provides multi-year core funding to eligible arts-focused nonprofits that offer non-financial support to emerging artists. The programme aims to help organisations increase their capacity while enabling artists to develop their practices, visibility and professional opportunities.

About the Grant

The Supporting Act Foundation Impact Grant 2026 provides unrestricted funding to arts-focused nonprofit organisations that support underrepresented emerging artists through non-financial assistance. Ten organisations will receive €25,000 per year for two years, totalling €50,000 per organisation. The grant can help organisations strengthen their capacity and continue providing support to emerging artists facing barriers in the creative and cultural industries. The programme is open to eligible nonprofits based in selected European countries, while organisations registered elsewhere may apply through a qualifying fiscal host. The first grant instalment is scheduled for January 2027 following the application and review process.

Who can Apply?

Eligible applicants must be nonprofit arts organisations registered between 2016 and 2024 in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain or the United Kingdom. Organisations registered elsewhere may apply if they have a fiscal host registered in one of the eligible countries. Applicants must have annual expenditure between €50,000 and €300,000 and an updated website showing active work supporting emerging artists from underrepresented groups or people facing systemic barriers. The organisation must provide non-financial support rather than simply fund individual projects. Individuals, commercial organisations, ongoing projects and project proposals are not eligible for this particular grant.

How to Apply?

Applicants should submit a short CV (max. 1 page) and a story/research pitch (up to 300 words). Up to two pitches may be submitted, with one being selected for development.
