Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants for the Rare Impact Fund Youth Mental Health Grant include registered nonprofit organizations or international equivalents. Applicants must operate within the United States and remain independent of political affiliations. Organizations should demonstrate a strong focus on youth mental health and experience supporting nonclinical providers. Only one application per organization is permitted. Preference is given to nonprofits that are not current Rare Impact Fund partners, ensuring broader inclusion. Applicants must also incorporate equity-driven approaches and actively engage youth voices in program design. How to Apply?
The application process consists of two stages. First, applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) outlining their mission, experience, and proposed project. Based on this, selected organizations are invited to submit a full proposal with detailed program plans and budgets. Applications are reviewed by an expert advisory board, and final selections are made after due diligence and compliance checks.
Application Deadline
The Letter of Intent for the Rare Impact Fund Youth Mental Health Grant must be submitted by April 10, 2026, after which no new applications will be considered.
