The International Organisation of the Francophonie is an international organization that brings together countries and governments where French is widely used. Through various programmes and partnerships, OIF works to strengthen cooperation in areas such as education, economic development, gender equality, and youth empowerment. It also supports initiatives that encourage social inclusion and economic participation for marginalized communities. By funding development projects and capacity-building programmes, the organization aims to create inclusive opportunities and improve livelihoods across its global network of Francophone countries.

About the Grant

The La Francophonie avec Elles Fund supports projects that promote the socio-economic empowerment of women and girls across member states of the Francophonie. The initiative provides funding for programmes that improve access to vocational training, entrepreneurship opportunities, and sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable women. The fund encourages projects that enhance participation in economic and social life while addressing regional development priorities. Supported initiatives may include skills training, income-generating activities, and entrepreneurship development tailored to local contexts. The programme particularly focuses on projects that help women overcome barriers to employment, strengthen economic resilience, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable community development.
