About Organisation
The Global Taskforce for Youth Combatants (GTY) works to raise global awareness and drive informed dialogue around Youth Associated with Non-State Armed Groups (YANSAG). By engaging former combatants, practitioners, peacebuilding experts, and affected communities, GTY aims to break cycles of violence and promote sustainable peace. The organisation focuses on protecting rights, encouraging accountability under international law, and supporting pathways that enable affected youth to reintegrate and contribute positively to society as agents of peace.
About the Grant
The GTY Youth Support Grant funds grassroots initiatives that address challenges faced by YANSAG and support their reintegration, rehabilitation, and peacebuilding potential. The grant supports practical, community-based efforts that contribute to conflict resolution and long-term peace. In addition to financial support, selected grantees receive one year of mentoring and networking assistance to strengthen impact, scale initiatives, and connect with relevant peacebuilding actors globally.
