The Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow initiative is a global partnership designed to empower young innovators creating solutions for social and environmental challenges. Supported by Allianz’s Global Social Impact program, MoveNow focuses on building resilience, financial inclusion, and wellbeing within underserved communities. Social Shifters, known for nurturing young changemakers worldwide, provides capacity-building, mentorship, and a global support ecosystem. Together, they aim to equip young leaders with the tools, skills, and opportunities they need to accelerate impactful ideas, strengthen community resilience, and scale sustainable social innovations that address today’s most pressing global issues.
About the Grant
The MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge supports youth-led projects and startups advancing Financial Empowerment & Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, and Climate Resilience. The program offers multiple grants of USD 5,000 and USD 10,000 across its three categories. Each category awards one grant of USD 10,000 and three grants of USD 5,000. Finalists receive founder support, mentorship from Allianz experts, and access to exclusive learning tools. All eligible applicants receive free entry into a global opportunities network that provides year-round training, resources, and funding access, helping young innovators refine their ideas and expand their social impact.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must be aged 18–30 on or before the submission deadline and provide valid government-issued identification for age verification. Projects must be primarily youth-led, with young people holding at least 51% ownership or decision-making authority. Applicants must be the main drivers of the project’s development and implementation. The challenge is open to youth from all countries working on social innovation initiatives aligned with financial empowerment, wellbeing, or climate resilience. Teams or individuals may apply, provided leadership, decision-making, and strategic direction remain within the eligible age group. Previous awardees may apply only if submitting a new idea.
How to Apply?
Applicants must complete the official challenge application form, outlining their project idea, impact goals, team structure, and budget needs. Youth must upload valid ID for age verification and demonstrate that they hold majority leadership in the initiative. Entries should highlight innovation, social impact, and feasibility. All eligible applicants gain access to free learning resources and the global community platform. Shortlisted finalists will be invited for further review and mentorship.
