About Organisation
UNICEF India, through its YuWaah initiative, works to empower young people with skills, employment pathways, and entrepreneurship opportunities, especially in rural and underserved regions. The organisation collaborates with government departments, private sector partners, and community institutions to advance youth-focused development. With a strong emphasis on women-led growth, UNICEF supports programmes that enhance digital access, vocational skills, and market-linked livelihoods. Its efforts aim to strengthen rural economies, promote equitable opportunities, and equip young women and youth with the tools needed to thrive across sectors, including agriculture and allied value chains.
About the Grant
This grant seeks to develop young women agri-entrepreneurs in Odisha through an outcome-based funding model. The initiative supports organisations that can help women aged 18–29 build sustainable enterprises in value chains such as honey, moringa, floriculture, and other rural agri-based opportunities. Proposed interventions may include entrepreneurship training, digital literacy, market linkages, and community-level support systems. Funding will be tied to measurable results, including enterprise creation, income improvement, and strengthened market readiness. The grant aligns with national goals to advance women-led development and enhance rural livelihoods.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants include NGOs and non-profit organisations registered in India with demonstrated experience in youth skilling, rural development, agricultural livelihoods, or women’s economic empowerment. Applicants must be capable of implementing outcome-based models with clearly measurable results. Strong partnerships with SHG networks, local institutions, or rural entrepreneurship ecosystems are considered an advantage. Organisations with proven experience in digital skilling, market-linked training, or value-chain development will be particularly competitive. Applicants should be able to manage field-level interventions, track outcomes effectively, and support young women in launching and scaling agri-based enterprises.
How to Apply?
Applicants must prepare a detailed proposal outlining the entrepreneurship model, target group, planned activities, measurable outcomes, budget, and relevant partnerships. The proposal should clearly demonstrate how results will be achieved and verified under an outcome-based funding structure. Submissions must be made through UNICEF India’s designated platform following the official call guidelines and required documentation.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is 28 November 2025.
