About Organisation

UNEARTHODOX is a global platform that supports systems change by empowering innovators, changemakers, and community leaders to develop bold ideas that reimagine existing structures. The organization focuses on fostering regenerative solutions that address today’s most urgent challenges, including climate change, nature conservation, food systems, education, governance, and well-being. By encouraging systems thinking, UNEARTHODOX brings together people with diverse expertise and perspectives, promoting collective learning and collaboration.

The organization recognizes that transformative solutions require more than incremental improvements—they demand fundamental shifts in how people, communities, and ecosystems interact. UNEARTHODOX is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen ecological and human systems, encouraging a more regenerative relationship between the two. Through its various programs, UNEARTHODOX not only provides funding but also offers access to mentorship, strategic support, storytelling tools, and peer networks that enable innovators to navigate challenges and bring their solutions to life. It actively cultivates a community of thinkers and doers who are aligned with long-term impact, offering a space where experimentation, reflection, and growth are encouraged. Its Sparks of Regeneration program embodies this mission by supporting early-stage ideas that hold potential to create lasting systemic change.

About the Grant

The Sparks of Regeneration Open Call, offered by UNEARTHODOX, invites changemakers and systems thinkers to submit early-stage ideas or innovations aimed at regenerating ecological and social systems. Unlike traditional grant opportunities, this program is specifically designed for projects that are already underway but require strategic shifts or deeper integration of regenerative principles. It is not open to brand-new concepts or projects seeking to scale without reconsidering their approach.

Selected participants receive a grant of up to CHF 10,000 to further develop and implement their ideas. In addition, they gain access to a collective pool of non-financial resources valued at up to CHF 50,000, including storytelling support, systems mapping, strategic guidance, and mentorship. The program spans 8 months, beginning in January 2026, and fosters collaboration through peer learning, shared reflection, and mentoring sessions.

Participants also benefit from networking opportunities with a global community of innovators and visibility through UNEARTHODOX’s communication channels. The program focuses on sectors like nature conservation, climate action, food systems, education, governance, and well-being, aiming to catalyze systemic change that supports regeneration of both human and ecological environments.

Who can Apply?

The Sparks of Regeneration Open Call is designed for individuals and teams that are actively working on early-stage regenerative projects. UNEARTHODOX is specifically looking for applicants with ideas that have already been tested in practice but need strategic refinement or deeper integration of regenerative approaches. Projects that are brand-new, untested, or only seeking to scale without a significant change in direction or methodology are not eligible.

Applications are welcome from innovators, changemakers, community leaders, and systems thinkers working in areas such as nature conservation, climate action, food systems, well-being, education, governance, and related fields. Projects that reimagine how human and ecological systems coexist, or that strengthen community stewardship of resources, are particularly encouraged.

Applicants should have an established initiative in motion, be committed to systems thinking, and demonstrate a clear pathway toward action and measurable impact. Multidisciplinary teams are welcome, and collaborations that foster cross-sector partnerships are encouraged. UNEARTHODOX values solutions that contribute to long-term regeneration and promote sustainable relationships between people and nature. Applicants should also be prepared to engage in peer learning, mentoring, and collective exploration throughout the 8-month program.

How to Apply?

Applications must be submitted online through UNEARTHODOX’s official platform. The application process involves providing project details, goals, and plans for implementation. Early-stage regenerative initiatives already in motion are encouraged to apply. Applications open on September 4, 2025, and close on October 9, 2025, at 23:59 CEST. Selected applicants will begin an 8-month incubation journey starting in January 2026.
