About the Grant
The GenEqual Fellowship is a full-time, 24-month program initiated by IHAT to build the leadership and technical capacities of young individuals (aged 18–29) from Key Populations (KPs) impacted by HIV. The fellowship aims to develop gender-responsive HIV intervention leaders through a comprehensive framework of structured training, peer learning, mentorship, and real-world implementation. Fellows will receive in-depth exposure to community-based interventions, stakeholder engagement at various levels, and hands-on experience in planning and executing inclusive, equity-oriented HIV programs. They will also be equipped with skills in communication, leadership, project management, and data-informed decision-making. The program supports fellows with a monthly allowance comparable to similar fellowships. Participants will play an active role in peer mobilization, advocacy, community-led change, and knowledge-sharing. GenEqual Fellows are expected to become change agents, advancing social norms and health equity within their communities while collaborating with local and national stakeholders.

Candidates should have completed at least 12th grade from a recognized board in India and reside in the Delhi NCR region. Basic proficiency in using digital tools, MS Office, and preferably access to a personal laptop is required.
