About the Grant
The World Health Summit 2025 is offering travel and accommodation stipends to support the participation of up to fifteen individuals from low- and middle-income countries, as well as those with relevant lived experience perspectives. The stipend aims to ensure inclusive representation and amplify diverse voices in the global health dialogue. Selected participants will receive comprehensive support, including roundtrip economy flights to Berlin, hotel accommodation for four nights, registration for the Summit (including food and beverages), and reimbursement for miscellaneous expenses such as local transport and visa/passport costs (up to 200€ each). Additionally, stipend recipients will be invited to the exclusive Kick-Off reception on October 11, 2025. This initiative is designed to lower financial barriers and enable talented individuals working in global health fields to engage meaningfully with key stakeholders at one of the world’s leading health policy forums. Through this grant, the World Health Summit seeks to foster equitable participation and ensure that the Summit reflects a broad range of experiences and insights necessary for building healthier futures globally.
Who can Apply?
Applicants must either hold the nationality of and reside in a low- or middle-income country, as classified by the World Bank for 2024-2025, or demonstrate a lived experience perspective that is relevant to the World Health Summit 2025 themes. Interested candidates are required to complete the full application form, which includes submitting personal information (nationality and country of residence), a letter of motivation (minimum one page, maximum two pages), a detailed CV, and proof of engagement in the global health sector (such as employment, advocacy work, or a letter of recommendation). Additionally, applicants must provide evidence of sufficient English language proficiency, as the conference will be conducted in English. Eligible candidates must also be able to apply for a short-term Schengen visa. The program encourages individuals passionate about advancing global health to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to participate in high-level discussions, networking events, and knowledge-sharing platforms at the World Health Summit 2025 in Berlin.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the designated online form provided by the World Health Summit. Interested individuals should complete all sections of the form and upload the required documents, including the letter of motivation, CV, proof of global health activity, and proof of English proficiency. Selected participants will be contacted via email, and a waitlist system will be in place for replacements if necessary.

Grant Amount
The grant covers roundtrip economy airfare, hotel accommodation for four nights, World Health Summit registration, up to 200€ for local expenses, and up to 200€ for visa and passport costs.
