About the Grant
The UNITAR Global Youth Scholars Development Programme is a year-long initiative aimed at empowering youth aged 18 to 24 to evaluate the real-world impact of the United Nations’ SDGs. This free program offers participants a unique blend of online learning, community-based research, and international networking opportunities. Over the course of the program, participants will engage with experts in SDG evaluation, conduct field-based assessments, and have the opportunity to present their findings to UN officials in Geneva. Who can Apply?
The UNITAR Global Youth Scholars Development Programme is open to youth aged 18 to 24 who are passionate about sustainability, policy, or global development. Eligible candidates should have demonstrated leadership potential or active community engagement. Strong communication skills in English and access to a device and internet for online learning are essential. Participants must be committed to completing the program, conducting a local SDG evaluation, and submitting a final report.
