About Organisation

Fondation Tutator is a global philanthropic initiative committed to empowering mission-driven organizations through innovative technology. Instead of offering traditional monetary grants, Tutator Forward focuses on creating impactful, fully customized software solutions tailored to the unique needs of social and environmental organizations. Their mission is to help these organizations maximize their effectiveness by improving operational efficiency, streamlining beneficiary management, and enabling real-time data tracking. With a strong emphasis on social innovation, Tutator believes that technology can be a powerful tool in solving complex societal challenges. The foundation collaborates closely with grantees to develop software that directly contributes to measurable impact in diverse fields such as healthcare, education, justice, environmental protection, and more. Their custom-built solutions are based on Tutator’s Beneficiary Management Platform (BMP), designed for scalability, security, and sustainability. Through this initiative, Tutator aims to help organizations scale their impact and stay focused on their mission rather than administrative tasks. Tutator not only builds the tools but also ensures the organizations are equipped to sustain and utilize them effectively post-development. This long-term support model makes Tutator Forward a unique and transformative opportunity for NGOs and social enterprises striving for systemic change through technology.

About the Grant

The Tutator Forward Grants Program 2025 offers a unique opportunity for social and environmental organizations to receive fully customized software solutions tailored to their operational and programmatic needs. Instead of financial aid, this grant delivers technological development valued between $75,000 and $1,000,000 USD, depending on project complexity. Projects typically require between 5,000 to 20,000 hours of specialized development work and are completed over a 4 to 12-month timeline. The software built under this grant focuses on direct service delivery and impact—such as tracking beneficiaries, managing programs, or coordinating field data—rather than administrative operations like HR or finance. Selected grantees will receive a solution built on Tutator’s Beneficiary Management Platform, designed for scalability and long-term impact. Recipients are expected to contribute actively during the development phase by dedicating 3 to 5 hours weekly, defining system requirements, testing, and coordinating internal adoption. Organizations must also assign a team leader, system administrator, and first-level support, and ensure they have the necessary IT infrastructure in place. A sustainability plan post-grant is essential for long-term success. This initiative is ideal for organizations looking to integrate innovative digital tools into their mission and significantly boost the reach and efficiency of their work.

Who can Apply?

The Tutator Forward Grants Program is open to organizations around the world that are dedicated to creating measurable social or environmental impact. Eligible applicants include registered non-profit organizations, NGOs, and mission-driven social enterprises that require custom-built digital tools to enhance their operational capacity and service delivery. Applicants must demonstrate a clear commitment to using technology for positive change in sectors such as health, education, governance, justice, youth empowerment, food security, and environmental protection.
To qualify, organizations must:
