Simply Sport Foundation (SSF) is dedicated to strengthening the grassroots sports ecosystem in India, with a special focus on increasing participation and representation of girls in sports. Since 2020, the foundation has partnered with sports institutions to improve access to quality coaching, infrastructure, equipment, competitions, and education scholarships for young athletes. SSF also promotes sports science at the grassroots level through programs in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and sports psychology. Its Female Health Program has reached thousands of athletes and coaches through workshops on menstrual health, nutrition, and mental well-being, helping young athletes build healthy, sustainable sporting and educational careers.
About the Grant
The SSF Grant Multi-Year Partnership Program is a three-year initiative designed to strengthen grassroots sports organisations that support girls in sports. Unlike traditional sports grants in India, the program combines financial support with technical mentorship and long-term collaboration. The foundation works closely with selected organisations, offering guidance, institutional knowledge, and strategic support to help build sustainable sports programs. The goal is to create safe and inclusive pathways for girls to participate and succeed in sports. Through this grassroots sports funding initiative, SSF encourages leadership development, organisational capacity building, and stronger systems that promote long-term growth in community sports programs.
