About the Grant
The Small Grants Programme supports activities marking the World Day for Assistive Technology (around 4 June 2026) in Asia. The selected grantee will manage and disburse small grants to Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) to conduct awareness campaigns and visibility activities.
The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals including Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10). The programme seeks to strengthen regional advocacy and promote inclusive access to assistive technology.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:
Academic or research institutions
National NGOs or community-based organizations
United Nations entities
Preference is given to global or regional umbrella organizations of OPDs or relevant nonprofit entities capable of managing and administering small grant programmes effectively.
How to Apply?
Interested and eligible organizations must submit their proposal in response to the Call for Proposals issued by UNOPS. Applications must be completed and submitted before 16 February 2026 at 16:30 as per the official submission timeline.
