About the Grant

The SBIF LEAP Program India is designed to support non-profits in incubating and accelerating social-impact startups addressing critical developmental challenges. The program focuses on sectors such as fintech, agritech, cleantech, and health tech, especially in underserved regions. It enables organizations to build structured incubation programs offering mentorship, technical support, and market access. The initiative emphasizes innovation, scalability, and measurable impact, helping startups grow into sustainable enterprises. By strengthening the startup ecosystem, the program contributes to inclusive economic growth, climate resilience, and livelihood generation, aligning with national development priorities and fostering impactful entrepreneurship.

Who can Apply?

Eligible applicants include registered non-profit organizations in India with a minimum of three years of experience in running startup incubation or acceleration programs. Organizations must demonstrate a strong track record of supporting social-impact startups and meet specified financial criteria, including consistent revenue over the past three financial years. Applicants should have the capacity to support at least 10–20 startups per project, particularly in underserved regions such as Northeast India, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and low-development index states. Strong operational systems, monitoring frameworks, and the ability to deliver measurable impact are essential eligibility requirements.

Applicants must prepare a comprehensive proposal aligned with SBIF LEAP Program India priorities, detailing project objectives, target startups, implementation strategies, and financial plans. Ensure eligibility criteria are met before submission. Proposals should clearly outline monitoring, evaluation, and sustainability measures.
