The ProVeg Grants program is dedicated to supporting high-potential organizations focused on transforming the global food system. As a trusted platform for philanthropists, ProVeg connects donors with initiatives that promote dietary change worldwide. Since its inception in 2019, ProVeg International has awarded over 500 grants to organizations and individuals across more than 70 countries, contributing to a significant shift towards sustainable food practices. The program offers financial assistance along with capacity-building support to empower grantees in their vital work.
About the Grant
ProVeg Grants provide financial support ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 annually to organizations focused on food-system transformation. Grantees gain access to a network of over 200 experts in the field, receiving tailored consultations that cover various aspects of their operations, including organizational structure and impact initiatives. The program also offers numerous resources such as reports, research, webinars, and events throughout the year to help grantees effectively implement their interventions and maximize their impact.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants include individuals or organizations dedicated to food-system transformation, particularly those proposing interventions like school engagement, influencing dietary guidelines, and healthcare initiatives. ProVeg prioritizes proposals from regions outside the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Czechia, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Belgium, Nigeria, Malaysia, and the USA. The program favors organizations led by and employing marginalized individuals, including women and people of color. Grantees must align with ProVeg’s values of maintaining a safe space and a respectful workplace.
How to Apply?
Interested applicants should submit their proposals detailing their interventions for food-system transformation, demonstrating alignment with ProVeg’s priorities and values.
