Panjab Digital Library (PDL) is a volunteer-led initiative that has been actively engaged since 2003 in preserving and digitizing the cultural and historical wealth of Panjab. With over 85 million pages digitized, PDL is now the largest archival repository dedicated to the Panjabi region. The organization’s mission is to locate, collect, preserve, and make accessible the intellectual and cultural heritage of Panjab across all languages, scripts, religions, and regions. PDL is committed to safeguarding the diverse narratives and indigenous knowledge systems that shape the identity of Panjab. Through digital tools and archival best practices, it ensures that the rich legacy of the region remains accessible to researchers, students, and the general public worldwide.

About the Grant
