About the Grant

The Launching Entrepreneurs for Affordable Products (LEAP) Fund is an initiative by C-CAMP in partnership with BIRAC, designed to provide financial assistance to early-stage startups in the biotech and life sciences sectors. This fund supports the piloting and commercialization of innovative, technology-driven products, helping reduce the time from prototype to market. LEAP Fund aims to act as a crucial accelerator for startups with potential to generate intellectual property and address unmet needs through novel technologies. The funding support, offered in the form of equity or equity-linked instruments, ensures that deserving startups can access vital resources to bring their solutions to the market. The program emphasizes product-based innovations that promise real-world impact, with a focus on robust commercialization strategies, market readiness, and scalability. With this fund, C-CAMP aims to empower startups with the tools and support they need to succeed and drive meaningful change in society.
