The organization serves as the Fund Manager for the GAP – Regular Fund, aiming to boost agroecology practices through grants and technical assistance, especially for women and youth entrepreneurs in rural areas.
About the Grant
The GAP- Regular Fund empowers Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Agri-Enterprises (MSEs) with grants ranging from INR 20 lakhs to INR 1 crore. The grant supports integrating smart agroecology practices into value chains, improving productivity, market linkages, and environmental sustainability. Priority is given to women and youth entrepreneurs. The program offers catalytic grants to scale enterprises and amplify their impact while supporting technical assistance for business and value chain development. Focus states include Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Odisha.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants include Producer Organization Enterprises (POEs) such as Producer Companies, Cooperatives, or other registered entities like MSEs. For-profit enterprises, including startups, and individual entrepreneurs with registered business entities may also apply. Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be in operation for a minimum of two years.
- Provide audited financial statements for the past two years.
- Offer proof of 30% co-funding.
Nonprofits may assist in application preparation but cannot apply independently.
How to Apply?
Submit a concept note and detailed proposal online as per the GAP- Regular Fund’s specified process, which includes evaluations by fund managers and internal committees.
