About the Grant
The Foundation funds applied research, pilot projects, and new initiatives that tackle under-funded issues. Grants aim to enhance environmental protection, boost food security, and promote public health. Funding ranges from $25,000 to $50,000 per year for one- or two-year projects, with a focus on providing seed money to develop future major funding opportunities.

Who can Apply?
- Eligible applicants include non-governmental organizations, nonprofit entities, civil society groups, and academic institutions based in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East.
- Organizations in upper-income countries working with local partners in these regions may also apply.
- Government agencies and religious organizations can participate as partners but are ineligible for direct funding.
- The Foundation does not support projects in post-Soviet or Balkan states.
How to Apply?
Submit an online concept application by January 1 or July 1 to request an invitation to submit a full proposal. The deadline shifts if the date falls on a weekend or holiday. Only one application per review cycle is permitted.
