Who can Apply?

The Differently Abled Startup Fund is open exclusively to early-stage startups that are founded and led by differently abled individuals. To be eligible for the grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The startup must be formally registered as a Private Limited Company, a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), or a Partnership firm.

  • The business must be less than 10 years old from the date of registration at the time of application.

  • The annual turnover of the startup must not exceed ₹50 Crores in any preceding financial year.

  • At least 51% of the ownership or shareholding must be held by one or more differently abled individuals.

  • The startup must have its headquarters located within the state of Tamil Nadu.

  • Applicants must be willing to undergo incubation support as a part of the grant requirement.

This initiative encourages aspiring entrepreneurs who face physical or cognitive challenges to take the leap and bring their business ideas to life. Startups from diverse sectors—including technology, healthcare, social innovation, education, and more—are welcome to apply.
