About the Grant
The Climate Democracy Accelerator (CDA) is a six-month training program aimed at equipping government and civil society leaders with the skills to design and implement participatory climate-focused programs. Selected participants will receive hands-on guidance to develop climate transition projects, targeting areas like renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, and clean transportation. The program offers access to mentorship, step-by-step resources, live sessions, and a $10,000 implementation grant. Additionally, participants can apply for an extra $20,000 for the best project, creating an opportunity for further impact.
Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants include government institutions, civil society organizations, and NGOs from any country. The program seeks individuals committed to shaping climate policy through participatory governance, focusing on creating equitable solutions for local communities. Applicants must have an interest in topics such as renewable energy, just transitions, and decarbonization. There are 15 spots available per cohort, and participants should be able to dedicate the required time and resources to the six-month program. Those selected will have the chance to develop and implement their climate-focused participatory programs.
