Amrit Mehsana Startup Innovation Mission (AMSIM) is a pioneering initiative aimed at driving entrepreneurial growth and regional economic development in Mehsana, Gujarat. About the Grant
The BharatNext Accelerator Program, launched by the Amrit Mehsana Startup Innovation Mission, is an intensive 12-week accelerator designed to support innovative startups across critical sectors. The program aims to scale startups that have the potential to transform industries through technology-driven solutions and address regional industrial needs. With a dual focus on innovation and impact, the program covers six major areas: Agri and Food Tech, Dairy and Animal Tech, Healthcare and Nutrition, Heavy Engineering, AI and Deep Tech, and Environment and Sustainability. Startups selected for the program gain access to expert mentorship, investment networks, demo day support, and a robust startup toolkit worth $650,000 covering legal, marketing, tech, and financial services. Additional offerings include specialized workshops, IP and legal guidance, co-working infrastructure, and ongoing support for compliance and growth. A unique feature of this accelerator is its hybrid structure—offering both online and offline sessions—ensuring flexibility while maintaining depth in mentorship. The program fosters innovation, accelerates market readiness, and opens doors to partnerships with VCs, industry experts, and government bodies. Ultimately, the BharatNext Accelerator is not just about scaling startups; it’s about transforming them into catalysts for regional and national economic development.
Who can Apply?
The BharatNext Accelerator Program is open to early-stage and growth-focused startups that are legally registered in India. Eligible entities must fall under one of the recognized legal categories, including a Private Limited Company registered under the Companies Act, 2013; a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) under the LLP Act, 2008; a Registered Partnership Firm under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932; or a Sole Proprietorship with valid registration under applicable Indian laws. In addition, preference will be extended to startups that are recognized by the Startup India initiative under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). This program particularly encourages applications from startups that align with its focus sectors such as agriculture, dairy, healthcare, engineering, sustainability, and advanced tech solutions. To maintain its goal of supporting innovative yet emerging businesses, the program mandates that the applying startup must not be more than five years old from the date of its legal incorporation or registration. The program is ideal for startups ready to scale, seeking mentorship, funding opportunities, and strategic market access. Startups meeting these criteria and possessing high-impact, innovation-led models will be strongly considered for selection into the 12-week intensive accelerator.
How to Apply?
Interested startups can apply by submitting their business details, innovation focus, and legal registration proof through the official AMSIM application portal. The application process includes an initial screening, followed by interviews or presentations to evaluate alignment with the program’s sectors. Selected startups will receive onboarding instructions, after which they begin their 12-week journey through expert-led modules and mentorship sessions.
