About the Grant

The Bandhutva program aims to bolster the capacity and impact of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. It offers financial assistance of up to Rs. 15 lakhs annually, with a maximum support period of three years. Organizations are selected based on their alignment with the program’s objectives and their financial performance over the past three years. While there are no thematic restrictions, preference is given to CSOs addressing issues faced by marginalized communities. This grant underscores NFI’s commitment to fostering community-led development and empowering disadvantaged groups, especially Dalits, tribals, minorities, and women leaders.

Who can Apply?

Eligible applicants are registered CSOs operating in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, or Odisha, with at least four years of operational experience. Organizations must have an annual budget not exceeding Rs. 25 lakhs and a team of at least four members. Special consideration is given to CSOs led by individuals or groups from socially disadvantaged categories, including Dalits, tribals, minorities, and women. Applicants must demonstrate their capacity to utilize the grant effectively and align with the program’s mission of supporting marginalized communities.
